Really enjoyed this blog on Brian Jones. Great commentary and selection of photos. Despite his problems, he was my favorite member of the Stones and it’s a shame it came to that tragedy at the bottom of the pool. I am certain he would have been involved in some excellent musical collaborations. Brian’s contributions musically and in style/promotion of group during its formative years are without question.

My favorite Shangri-Las song happens to be “Give Him a Great Big Kiss,” which was covered by another band Shadow Morton produced (and who were left off this blog post [tsk, tsk, Bobby ...]): the New York Dolls.
