This one features two fantastic tunes by Dolly Parton (one covered by the incredible singer Bettye LaVette). I just read about Parton’s Imagination Library program, which has donated 100 million books to children over the last 23 years! So good on her! She sure is talented. You’ll also hear Erykah Badu, two from Karen Dalton’s 1971, Harvey Brooks produced LP In My Own Time, and one of my favorite Bono vocal performances from back in 1999-2000.
